Work Process
The Consultation Process
We generally work with our clients on a project basis, although we also provide ongoing assistance for clients on an hourly fee basis.
Typical client engagements involve:
- Preliminary Discussion: New clients typically contact us with a particular project in mind. We then meet with prospective clients in person or by phone to learn about their circumstances, identify key issues, and determine their desired outcomes.
- Proposal: We present a detailed project plan with expected deliverables, fee estimates, and a project timeline for the prospective client to consider. Our proposal includes information about CompAnalysis’ relevant experience, client references, and consulting staff backgrounds. The signed proposal, or letter of agreement, constitutes the consulting contract.
- Consulting Process: Projects usually begin with a meeting between our staff and our client’s key managers to review the intended project scope and processes, and to obtain their input and mutual agreement with core issues. We then work collaboratively to carry out each step of the process, according to the provisions of the accepted proposal.
- Project Review: CompAnalysis communicates with clients throughout the project’s duration to ensure their satisfaction, and to make any necessary adjustments.
